Fortunately, finding out that my stepmom was cheating on me had already saved me a ton of trouble. Although it was upsetting to find out about it, I am very glad that I found out before it was too late. I would have never been able to save myself so many headaches if I had learned sooner that my stepmom was a child molester and a bad person. But I was able to catch her soon enough so that I could warn my children about what their mother was doing, and I now know how to trust my stepmother again.
